Comments: Hi Thuey dearest! Do you read your guestbook? Glad you got around to updating since you don't write email either--people have asked me what happened to you! I'm feeling so much more normal on Armour Thyroid than I have for years and years and years, and I hope you try it too! I wake up really AWAKE and my brain works much better too! I just can't tell you what a drastic change it made for me. You don't have to be pooped after work! Pick up the phone when I call ya, K? Love Ya, Di

Comments: Thank you for helping me understand why my 27 year old daughter is not herself. I will pass this info on to her husband. My daughter thinks she is doing ok, but her family is having a difficult time because she is not "ok". She has Graves Disease and does not take car of herself.

Comments: I was diagnosed with Graves disease in April after several months of constant headaches. My doc ordered a blood test, then a thyroid scan and bang Graves disease. All practically bought on myself after taking the cellasene tablets. I had just had my baby 6 months earlier and heard about this wonder drug that reduced cellulite, unfortunately I like many other niave women rushed to the store to buy it hoping for miracles. Well I lost 10 kilos but my life has also changed in that the never ending blood tests, the number of tablets I have to take, which are not helping me, and surgery in less than 2 weeks. I am jus hoping that all will be better in a couple of months.

Comments: I was just diagnosed with an overactive thyroid last week (after two different blood tests over a 2 month period). The last test being much higher than the first one. Next week I'm scheduled to see an Endicrinolgist to begin testing. All I can is that I'm scared.

Comments: Was diagnosed with Grave's @ 3 years ago. Luckily for me I got a doctor(right off the bat) that knew what he was doing. Along with the prescription drug tapozolez9taken for a little over one year) and my drastic change in diet, I am currently one year in remission.

Comments: I HAVE JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH HYPERTHYROIDISM. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ELSE ABOUT IT THAN WHAT I'VE READ IN THE INTERNET. I'M SCARED AND CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH NOW AND WHAT WILL COME. I SHAKE LIKE A LEAF, CONSTANTLY, I HAVE A RESTING HEART RATE OF 120 BEATS PER MINUTE, I'M TIRED ALL THE TIME, HAVE SORE THIGHS FROM TIME TO TIME FOR NO REASON, AND CAN'T SEEM TO COME OUT OF THIS "GLOOM". SOME DAYS I'M FINE AND OTHERS IM NOT. I THOUGHT I HAD DEPPRESSION BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT MY HUSBAND IS SUFFERING FROM. MY DOC SAID MY THYROID LEVEL WAS HIGH. HE'S PUT ME ON INDEROL AND THAT IS IT. FROM WHAT I'VE READ, THAT ISN'T ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM. SHOULD I SEEK A SPECIALIST? I JUST WANT THE SHAKING TO STOP. MY HANDWRITTING HAS CHANGED BECAUSE OF IT. DOES THIS MEAN I COULD HAVE GD TOO? PLEASE RESPOND, I DON'T KNOW OF ANYONE ELSE THAT IS CONCERNED ENOUGH AND I NEED ANSWERES AND SUPPORT.

Comments: I am 26 years old and was diagnosed with Graves Disease about three months ago. I went to the doctor complaining of a sore throat (I thought I had Strep), she took one look at me and ordered blood work. Right now I'm just coasting along on the medication until my doctor thinks I am stable enough for the Radioactive Iodine. I don't know why but I dread that treatment. It just seems like such a shot in the dark. I know they say that a link to cancer is unlikely, but come on, when they also say you should avoid pregnant women and infants for several days after? Thanks for your site.
