Comments: I was just diagnosed with Graves and am experiencing new horrors every day. I also have diabetes (two, two, two diseases in one!) and am just an enigma to my doctors. My boss forwarded your url to me, he's reading everything on his way home tonight. I'm grateful to have his support, and am now going to explore every inch of your website in hopes that I will find some comfort on those bad days. Thank you!

Comments: Really enjoyed looking at your site, I was looking for info on excessive thirst, and your site came up , I can relate to alot of the stories, they have done so many tests, you see I am bi-polar so they blame everything on that I hate it! The newest symptom I have is this itchy patch of skin on my back that is so dried out. I also have a small bump on my neck for about 3mos. First they said it was a zit and to pick it,jerks its still there now and its longer, not zit shaped. And of course I get 8-10hrs of sleep and still need a nap in the pm. My whole body hurts aches swelling of feet. Now they have said fybro. They also said once that my thyroid was enlarged a bit, nothing to worry about though. I am either sweating like a sieve or freezing cold. If you have any suggestions or could post this for me that would be great I could really use some help!!!!!! Thank you for letting me share. Laurie

Comments: I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in June of 1998. I went to the doctor because I was expierencing irregular heartbeat. When my blood work came back my General Practioner refered me to an Endocrinologist. I started Tapazole immediately and did very well with the treatment. After eighteen months of treatment my doctor cut my dose and my tsh levels dropped. He increased my dose and as of last month I have been off of Tapazole. I never had any side effects from the medication and tolerated it well. I hope to stay in remission but unfortunately I know that their is a small chance that I will stay there. I feel great now and was luckey not to suffer from many of the symptoms of the disease.
