Comments: Hi everybody, It's me again. If someone had problem with they liver because of the Grave's Desease or Thydoide Problem could you send me information on what you have experienced, because here no Doctor seem to know what I got. Also my eyes are hurting all the time, they are always red, like a haven't slept in 5 days, but my doctor say it's normal of the Grave's Desease and that it will not get worst, Can anybody tell me if that is true, because I don't want it too get worst? Thanks everybody Good Luck to you All Alain Caron Laval, Quebec

Comments: Hi everybody, also by pure luck one doctor made a simple test and found that I could have a Thyroide Problem. It turn out that I was Hyperth.... and that I had Grave's desease. It took them 2 years too find exactly what was going on with me and I had all the symptoms. Trouble with my eyes, shaking, short of breath all the time, heartbeat racing for nothing and sweating. Also as a reference people should know that if not treated it might affect your liver and other organs. My thyroide problem is now controlled by medication but my encime for my liver are still way to high, so a month ago they did a biopsie of my liver (Very painful) and now I am waiting for my result this Friday. Anyway good luck to you all. Hey, from Canada Alain Caron

Comments: I was diagnosed with Graves Disease during a Thyroid Storm in Jan. 2000. I had every symptom imaginable except the goiter and protruding eyes. I opted to go with a Holistic Dr. and have had wonderful results. Almost one year later and I'm 80% back to normal, that's amazing as far as I'm concerned!

Comments: I cried when I read your story. It was almost parallel to my life; the panic, anxiety, irritability, ADD symptoms and depression. Plus, the major burden of obnoxious bosses and co-workers! (Why do the evils ones seek people like us out? Guess because we're sensitive.) Anyway, your site has inspired me to see an Endocrinologist. Now, just to find the right one who will listen and not blame it on other factors. I've been treated for depression for years and most recently, have been on Adderall for ADD. Had a total hysterctomy in '97 due to endrometriosis, so that was one problem out of the way. I understand how it feels to try and try and try and still have no ability to cope with stress/pressure. Then, again, with the rude, hateful people who criticize, belittle, treat you like you're some sort of freak of nature; it causes one to become withdrawn and trust NO ONE. Thanks to the Adderall, anti-depressants and Xanax, I can go through life with a smile on my face in public, make it through a day at work without crying and manage to survive from day to day. That in itself is an accomplishment for me, as before the Adderall, I would break down and cry and not be able to stop. As far as other thyroid problem symptoms, I am cold all the time but haven't noticed any skin irritations or swollen neck. Do have muscle and joint pain constantly Weight is only 108 pounds (I'm 5'6"). Just figured it was the Adderall. God bless you and good luck in your journey! Thank you for site.

Comments: was diagnosed with graves in aug 99 not sure how long I had it before that can think back to episodes when i thought i was crazy always mad. was lucky enough to have a dr that I trusted and loved who ran all the correct tests and was diagnosed right away (when I finally went in with the complaints) saw a great endo and was on med since then slowly decreasing over time Due to a bankruptcy with my HMO lost all my dr. Had to find new ones Jan blood test showed an increase again and med are back up have not felt any releif this time went to new endo and complainded about some of my symptoms and he just said "dont blame everything on the Graves" and he is recommeding that I get the RAI treatment. not sure yet what I am going to do except I problably will not be going back to see him. With HMO dont know how much they will help me finding someone else. Will see in the meantime I will go back and see my reg DR. Getting so bad now I find myself crying all the time. Went to call my dog earlier and couldnt even remember her name Have to take things slowly. Cant even say how much it mean to me to be able to now go on line and read and write to others who know what I am going thru just got online Feb 2001. thanks cindy
